PARKS: Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park & Ngorongoro crater
4 Days/3 Nights
During this 4-day lodge safari you will visit three of the most well-known reserves on Tanzania’s “northern circuit” – the Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti National Park. With all the diverse landscapes and a crater full of animals, this safari has something for everyone and is ideal for those with limited time.
Lake Manyara is known for more than 400 bird species that are found gathered around the lake. The diverse vegetation provides a habitat for many animals such as monkeys in the forest, giraffes, and antelopes on the grasslands and elephants around the acacia trees.
The Ngorongoro Crater in Northern Tanzania, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in the world. The Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in Tanzania to see the Big Five.
The Serengeti is the largest park in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes including short-grass plains, savannah, thick bush, swamps, mountains, and lakes. Depending on the season you will witness the migration of thousands of animals for which this park is famous for. During the short rainy season in November and December, the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June they return up north. This circle of life is completely dependent on the yearly rainfalls and the locations of the herds may vary from year to year.
Your accommodation on this tour will include an overnight stay at Kirurumu Manyara Lodge, followed by an overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp and is rounded off nicely with an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge before heading back to Arusha.
This tour is ideal for solo explorers, couples, friends traveling together and families.
